What a terrific surprise thrill to come upon your sight and find my
family connection thru the Slaughter lineage. Mary Emma Slaughter was my
grandmother, my mother being Mary Lydia Reynolds Ormerod. I remember
Aunt Della very well. Are you possibly Ruth Ann? I have the Fisher
Book which is the lineage thru their mothers side of the family I
believe. It was given to me by my cousin Rachel who was the only daughter
of William H. Reynolds (son of mary Emma) I have often wondered where
all the cousins had gone and also about Uncle Rynears daughter Clara
Nancy ?
My husbands cousin Emily Kilby has done a great deal of research on
Penningtons as her mother was a Pennington. I thought i might forward
her this info to see if there is a connection there. They were Maryland
folks. In fact Emily is Sr Editor of Equis magazine and you might reach
her if you wish to persue any info.

I keep coming back to your site and noticed on Mary Emma Slaughter her death was listed as 1913, I
was born in 1936 and spent many yrs with her and know that she died 12/7/1956. Emma was born Nov
3, 1873 Ida Slaughter died. 12/31/61 she was born 1872 The birth dates are recorded in the
Genealogy of the Fisher Family 1682-1896 by Anna Wharton Smith (yes the Wharton is the Warton
School of Business Univ of Pa)
