William is mentioned in his father William's will AA p349 1737 He is to receive one young horse. This is the correct timing for this William to father a son in 1737 the estimated birthdate of Robert of Wm. who fathered a child Hyland Biddle in 1771
In the Maryland Marriages 1634-1777 there is and entry for a William Peninton m Mary Atkey 9/14/1713. The same spelling of Peninton and given name William m Ann Burgin 3/2/1730/1 is right below this entry.
PP 17-1 There is a reference that a William was Born 1/22/1714-15 St Stephens and died after 1761.
Isabel Coburn identifies these dates with William s/o Richard and Mary Wheeler's son William according to Peden's "Early Anglican Church Records of Cecil Co."
Marilyn Freeland has identifed that Wm and Otho Penington are the sons of Mary Wheeler

there is a likelihood of this Wm. being the son of Wm. & Mary Atkey.
Isabel thinks Wm. d.1748,Kent Co.De. is s/o Wm. & Mary Atkey. I disagree. No proof and that would make this Wm. dead by 30.
According to Mary Atkey Pennington Ricketts administration, William was living 1764.
I am going to send you a packet when this heat wave brakes. I don't have central air and my concentration is not to good right now. Three of us have found the circumstantial parents of Otho Othoson. There is no paper that says Otho is the son of anybody but plenty of evidence that indicates who they were.
