John *Pennington Group 9 was born about 1698 in MD. He died in 1745 in Cecil Co., MD.6 John Pennington made his will in Cecil Co., MD on 9 Apr. 1745, and it was proved there on 15 Oct. 1745. Mary, his wife was executrix. Witnesses were: Rachel Mainley, Benjamin Pearce, and John Keye.
He was married to Sarah Beadle (daughter of John Beadle) on April 3, 1716 in St. Stephen's Parish, Cecil Co., MD. Sarah Beadle was born on April 11, 1702 in St. Stephen's Parish, Cecil Co., MD. She died on September 3, 1739 in St. Stephen's Parish, Cecil Co., MD. John *Pennington Group 9 and Sarah Beadle had the following children:

Under 18 years old and directed to live with his sister, Rachel.
He was married to Mary Othoson (daughter of Garriet Othoson and Sarah?) in October 1740 in St. Stephen's Parish, Cecil Co., MD. Mary Othoson was born on January 29, 1719/20 in St. Stephen's Parish, Cecil Co., MD. John *Pennington Group 9 and Mary Othoson had the following children:

Owned a part of "Happy Harbor, the original patent for which was granted 4-10-1761 to Richard Leake for 400 acres on the Sassafrass River across Duck Creek. It was also known as Pennington's Point and later became the site of Fredericktown.Other lands owned were Two Branches, Vesey's Land, Land on the east side of the Elk River near the head of St Albans Creek, land on Town Point Rd Bohemia Manor ,Hazel Branch, land on the south east side of the Elk river at Captin Johns Creek.
In 1744 he was appointed agent to collect the debts for William Mill, mariner of Biddleford Devon Co England.
