She is from New Castle, the second wife of Samuel Pennington, and the mother of Captain Samuel. She died when the Captain was 4 years old and his brother John Augustine was 2 years old.
Most of her family members are listed in the Old Drawyer's Publication and are buried on the grounds of the church. She is buried next to her grandchildren Clarence B and Mary both children of Captain Samuel.
PP 23/2 1991 article states that ther was another child of this union....Eliza H b 2/26/1811 it is possible but this name is not mentioned in her father's will or any other reference found in DE as of this date 7/2000

83. Thomas Pennington was born on November 28, 1736 in St. Stephen's Parish, Cecil Co., MD. He died in 1791/92 in Carolina Co., MD. Thomas's date of death from Will dated 10-15-1791, probated 05-06-1792. Caroline Co., MD Will Bk B:206. He was bequeathed land called "Two Branches". He was under 18 years of age at his father's death and directed to live qith his sister, Rachel.
He was married to Ann Maria Price about 1757 in Queen Annes Co., MD. Ann Maria Price died. Thomas Pennington and Ann Maria Price had the following children:
