Thomas was age 52 in 1755 and age 62 in 1766 CELC 2:49 and CELC 2:211
Rebecca was age 46 in 1768 mentions her mother Elizabeth Mainley, dec., CELC 2:229
Thomas was of CE Co a farmer and died leaving a will dated 23 Dec 1760 and proved 3 Jan 1774. He left to his son William Crouch his now dwelling plantation and woodland adjoining that lies between the main road that leads form the head of Elk River to Turkey Point and Elk River part of tract called "Triumph." To his son Thomas the remainder of land called "Triumph" that lies westward of the main road. To his wife Rebecca the use of the plantation for 12 years to raise small children (unnamed).
Wife was exts., Witnesses were Frans Manlein, William Bristow, and Isaac Hyland. Inventory was approved on 2 April 1774 by William Crouch admin,
2 March 1768 Inventory was filed Thomas Crouch was Admin. Next of kin listed as Stephen Crouch and John Crouch. List of debts filed on 10 Aug 1768
Sons William, Thomas, Steven and John could be from a previous marriage
The land of Turkey Point could be a lead to the family line for Milcha who marries Alexander Wilson and her sister Mary Crouch.
This could be the family line that is mentioned in the "Lighting of the Bay" the light keepers of the Turkey Point Light house.
