[220] 1921 Dec 3 Middletown Transcript: "Dr Victor Cochran, a prominent Philadelphia dentist, died at his home N 3601 Walnut St last Sunday morning, at five o'clock, aged 56 years. His death was caused from heart trouble and deceased had been unwell for several months. Dr Cochran was born in Middletown, and as the oldest son of the late John and Ella Penington Cochran, and a grandson of the late Governor John P Cochran, and his numerous Delaware friends were sorry to learn of his untimely death. He graduated from the School of Dentistry of the University of Pennsylvania in 1901 and practiced in Philadelphia for the past 20 years. Dr Cochran was past master of Philadelphia Lodge No. 71 Free and Accepted Masons. Deceased leaves to mourn his death his widow Mrs., Ella Warren Cochran, one brother Mr Warren Cochran of Washington DC and one sister Mrs. Howard A Pool of this town. Funeral services were held Tuesday evening at No 1820 Chestnut street Philadelphia, and the remains brought to Middletown on the 11:19 train Wednesday Morning. Interment was made in Forest cemetery."
