In the Hannah orphan count file, as one of the surviving 5 children of Hannah.
"James eldest son left 7 children (Wm. Daniel, Nancy wife of Warner Barcus, Obadiah, Hannah, James, and Mariann wife of Andrew Faulkner). [Back to Hannah's children] Nancy widow of George Goforth decd., Mariann who married John Thomson, she is dead and left 1 child named Catharine surviving her late her John Thompson her husband, Obadiah who died without assigns-Titus Voshall who is dead and left 2 children, Matthias and Obadiah Voshell now in the Western Country. Daniel Voshall, Timothy Voshall, Irons Voshall who is dead and left one child named James Voshall. Peter Voshall who is dead and left 5 Children viz. Mary now wife of Joseph Lecompt, Owen who died without assigns, Sally Ann wife of Emory Reed, Peter Voshall, John and Mariann Voshall [determined later to be Sally Ann's children], and your petitioner [Draper Voshall], and William Voshall who died without assigns. [The only child missing from this document is Owen who is mentioned in Obadiah 1796 probate]
A petition of Draper Voshall, June 4 1834, and "Rule granted to be served as to Wm. Voshall, Matthias Voshall and Obadiah Voshall residing in Indiana by publishing in the National Intelligencer a paper published at Washington City (crossed out are the words unreadable something 'State of Indiana') for six successive weeks do and as to all the other parties by copy de " dated Oct 7 1834. (It could be that the Voshalls in Indiana did not know about the need to appear in court and were hard to find. So the notice to publish in the newspaper was order but the need to publish in Indiana was not necessary?)
Another document, "In the case of the Real Estate of Hannah Voshall deceased upon the application of Draper Voshall one of the children and heirs of Hannah Voshall late of Dover HD" dated June 4, 1844. This document concerns the sale of "land and tenements situate in Dover containing twenty four acre and one hundred thirteen perches and valued and appraised to the sum of one hundred and forty eight dollars and twenty three and three quarter cents." This document has writing on the back- "This copy to be kept by the person who deliver the copies and brought to the court 6 Oct. next and the time noted in writing on this copy when the others were delivered." Bottom of the page lists- "Delivered to Moses Ford Aug 26. Delivered to the under names 22 September- James Voshell, Obediah Voshell, Hannah Voshell, Daniel Voshell, Nancy Goforth, Sarah Voshell, John Taylor, Joseph Lecount, Timothy Voshell, Emory Reed. Delivered to Elizabeth Jenkins, Late Elizabeth residence. Late Eliz Howell on the 23 of Sept 1834. Delivered to Andrew Fortnor on the 24 Sept 1834. Delivered to James Voshell, Warner Barcus on the 25 of Sept 1834. 1834 Oct 6 provided and the oath of John Given and signed by the JL Harper."
Hannah's land was ordered to auction 10/7/1834. The auction was advertised and the public auction was held "at the house of Elijah McDowell in Dover on the 13 Nov last and sold to Draper Voshall for the sum of eight six--------dollars he being at that sum the highest and last bidder." Money recorded to the court 3/25/1835
Probate recored for Draper Voshell 1845-1850 has a Ann Voshell signs over to Garrett Voshell. Admin. was William Carrow and Thomas Clementa.
