[12119] He was born near Uniontown in Carroll co MD, after marriage he lived in Littlestown for several yeras where he was a cigarmaker, then moved to Hanover where he lived the rest of his life, and where he continued in the trade of cigarmaker. He lived at 209 Centennial Avenue, was generally known as " Cally" and was a member of St Matthew's Lutheran Ch about 3 blocks away. His wife was a member of the nearby Methodist Ch. The last three years of his life he was an invalid, suffering from paralysis.
