1918 Jan 12 Middletown Transcript: "This (Saturday) afternoon at three o'clock Miss Emma Wilson Penington youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J Frank Penington will be united in marriage to Mr. Frank M Richards, son of Mr. and Mrs. George S. Richards of this town in Forest Presbyterian Church. Rev. F. H. Moore D.D. will perform the ceremony. The maid of honor will be a sister of the bride Miss Madeline Penington, and Mr J Ringgold Richards of Claymont, brother of the groom will act a s best man.
Immediately after the ceremony, the young couple will leave for a wedding trip and upon their return will reside in Philadelphia where the groom is engaged in the real estate business. Mr and Mrs. Penington gave a dinner at their home last evening in honor of the bridal party to the immediate families."
