Middletown Transcript 8/5/1937 "Mrs Laura Pennington West, widow of Frank C West died in her home 410 west 20th Street Wilmington on Monday after a long illness. Mrs West was born in Middletwon, and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Ball Pennington and for many years she and her husband resided here moving to Wilminton 36 years ago. Deceased leaves to mourn her death two daughters Misses Frances and Clara West both at home. Funeral services were held at her late home in Wilmington this Thursday afternoon and interment made in Forest Cemetery."
