Orphan court paper indicated was living in Indiana and under the age of 21
They appear to show up in the Chancery Court DE in 1844 with their mother. He acts as power of Attorney for his mother.
Obediah, 47, occupation cooper, is found in the 1850 Dearborn county, Indiana census, so is Usual, 18, Also, 10, living with a family named McClure and Mary, 7, living with a family named Sommers.
The family shows up again in the 1860 census now listing Usual as age 30, wife Annie, 25, daughters Laurie, 3 and Martha, 1. Last name Vocial (like social, with a v.. Obediah is listed with wife Sophie and spelling the last name in the same unusual manner.
I have no other evidence at this time to connect these people, but I feel strongly that I am correct in this assumption.
