Found your wonderful web site via google. Sorry to trouble you but I think you might like to make a small correction:
Joshua JEFFERSON m. Eunice TINDELL...not LINDELL. He was also Joshua Jr. Eunice was dtr of Pernell TINDELL and
Elizabeth SMITH. This is how Pernell Tindell JEFFERSON got his name.....

[10386] He did farm work and also was a pump maker. He died after an illness of some 9 monthe from dropsy. He served twice in the Civil War- first as a Corporal in Co H 165th PA Regt.; then as a Private in Co G 209th PA Infantry, It is most likely that he is the James Stonesifer who is mentioned in the History of Lancaster Co PA by Ellis and Evans in 1883 as having been a prisoner of the Confederates for some time in 1864-65.
