[12411] farmed near Silver Run for many years, was a member of St Mary's Reformed congregation there, and was made administrator of his deceased father's estate which he was unable to settle till Oct 7 1853 because of the litigation involving it and Cases in Equity No 59 adn 61. His father's estate finally produced $1982.79 for distribution to the heirs. Daniel moved from the Silver Run area to the vicinity of Bart's Church in Adams Co PA near the PA MD line. Which is located about half was between Hanover and Littlestown. The move was undoubtedly made due to the distaste he had for his immediate home area because of litigation. Also ill health brought on by the long battle over financial and legal matters caused his early death at the age of 53.
