[2314] According to her father Probate in 1748, she was under the age of 17 in 1748 so she may have been born about 1733..

Turner file note says she was living in 1773, 1777. This would make her the primary candidate, as the mother of James since it is guess that he was born around 1776. However, he is mentioned in the Hannah Voshall as the oldest child of Hannah. There is no mention of James being a stepson, which terminology has been used in other wills and documents from this era. So weather the Turner note is conjecture or fact is to be proved later. Most inheritance of widows does not go to children from previous unions. The names of Owen and Titus seem to come from the Irons line, where the James, Obadiah, and Daniel from the Voshall line. The actual determination of the children of the two wives may never be known.

Deed 5/14/1760 Obediah Voshall and wife Elizabeth to Daniel Robinson, John Brown Decd. father of the afsd. Elizabeth "the Downs"

Bond 2 1 221 Obadiah Voshall Jr. to Hugh Roe LT Continental Serving in the Army. Condition Obediah Jr. and Elizabeth shall convey unto Hugh Roe 5-a. and sm. brick house on ad lott situated a little NW of the mansion where in Miss's Elizabeth Roe now dwells.

This is the first wife of Obediah Jr. She is the daughter of the first marriage of Obadiah SR's wife, Elizabeth Brown widow of John Brown. Records of her and Obediah are recorded in the deeds as early as 1773

The earliest record of Hannah as Obediah's wife is a deed dated 11/18/1786 just 10 years before his death.

[13370] Robert Palmatary Book: Robert Palmatary was born and raised in Duck Creek HD Kent Co DE. He was the second oldest of five sons of John Palmatary and his first wife.

Robert was about twelve years old when his father died. His step-mother remarried shortly after and Robert's uncle James Severson was appointed his guardian.

Like his father, Robert died at the comparatively young age, as evidenced by the fact that he left three minor sons. His inventory totaled over 293 pounds sterling and showed he was a farmer, raising wheat, corn and flax. His livestock included twenty-four head of cattle, six horses, a pair of oxen, fifteen hogs and nine sheep. He also owned a loom and tackling, a linen wheel, wooling wheel and cards, wooling yarn, tow and flax thread, all indicating that Robert was also a weaver.

Robert's widow, Tamsy, was named his administratrix and had remarried Benjamin Vanwinkle by 1792, when together they filed an administration account of Robert's estate.

Tamsy and Benjamin Vanwinkle raised Robert's three sons, and two others, either their own, or Benjamin's by a former marriage. They lived in Duck Creek Neck and Benjamin was a farmer.

Robert and his four brothers had inherited a 133 acre, 85 square perch tract of land in Duck Creek HD which may have been part of their grandfather's land, "Newberry." They also inherited a 125-acre parcel in Duck Creek, one-forth of the original "Robert's Chance." In 1811 Benjamin Vanwinkle bought the 133 acre 85 square perch tract from his step-sons, John, James and William Palmatary, for thirty-three pounds, fifteen shillings. One year later, Benjamin, and Tamsy sold the same parcel to Robert's cousin Robert Palmatary for ninety-three pounds, fifteen shillings.

By 1817 Benjamin Vanwinkle had married a woman named Darcus, so Tamsy is assumed to have died around 1815
