The death of John Barr Vandegrift Wednesday morning at his late home Roseland Farm, near port Penn, removes from that neighborhood one of its best-known and most successful farmers. and elder of the Port Penn Presbyterian Church for years and was active in all kinds of work for the good of the community.
Died of acute nephritis. He served as an Elder in the church of Port Penn 35 years and was superintendent of the Sabbath School for 19 years.
