[9007] they had farmed for some years near Littlestown. Then they moved to town where he was a merchant for many years, was justice of the peace for 20 years, and also a notary public for 5 terms. They were strong pillars of the United Brethren Church now Centenary Methodist for some forty years but a religious dispute within the church in his last years caused them to attend church elsewhere.
