[14430] Is believed to have married Ann Milbourne. He was also known at times as Colonel which has led to some confusion with the Colonel John Veazey, son of Edward and Susanna Brokas. These are John's children: Edward who was elected Captain of the Seventh Independent C of Maryland on 6 Jan 1776 took part in the Battle of Long Island and was killed 27 Aug 1776; Dr George, who devised his property via will proved 12 Mar 1789 to his nephews indication he was unmarried; Robert whose will proved 25 Oct 1797 named his nieces and nephew also indicating no descendants; William; and Samuel whose children include Samuel Milbourne; Ann; Elizabeth, and Sarah Loutitt.
