[1084] Margaret was 3 when her mother died. She was 18 when Capt Samuel was born, 22 when her step mother died, 24 when her father died.

She married her first husband at age 20 and he died three years later. She married her second husband William Polk in 1825 three years after her first husband death at age 26.

There are some interesting battles in the Orphans Court with a Eliza S Penington vs Margaret B Cochran over the inheritance of her father's estate.

Middletown Transcript states she died on Tuesday, 12th, at the residence of her son-in-law, Charles Beaston, Esq., Odessa. age 77.
