MT Transcript Mar 7 1884: "Mrs. Olivia Beasten, widow of the late Charles Beasten, died in Philadelphia at 12 o'clock yesterday aged 63 years. The immediate cause of her death was paralysis. She had been in poor health for several weeks, having never recovered from the shock occasioned by the death of her husband. Mrs. Beasten was the daughter of John T. Cochran, and was born on the Levels, near Middletown. She was a woman of many estimable qualities and was loved by a large circle of relatives and friends. Her remains were brought to Middletown last evening. The funeral will take place on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The interment will be a Forest Cemetery."
