age is a quess
This connection is base on the Turner File at the DE Archives. The best quess of the family interview of Jonathan Kersey Voshell was that he Great Grandfather was a Levi of Obediah.
Since Joseph had a son name Obediah and the ages fit and the name of Joseph is repeated in this branch. It is a likely connection.
Jonathan would be a great grand son of Obediah.
Jonathans obituary mentions:" Mr Voshell was born on a farm near Mardel, Del., where five generations of Voshells had lived before him. The farm was part of an original grant to Obadiah Voshell, a French Huguenot who emigrated to America in 1710 from Alsace- Lorraine
another reference in the Turner Chart is that this Obediah was married to Ruth widow of Kersey. The dates on this family seem to be off by one generation That Ob was born about 1803 and his children James 1828 and Susan 1829
