[7167] Dear Mr. Todd,
I am the spouse of George Raymond Carrow son of John W. Carrow III and Eleanor Parker Carrow. We recently were given a photo album by a stranger. It was in her long deceased mothers trunk. The album was given to "Mother" by John W Jr on Christmas 1900. There are 4 newspaper clippings in the album. One announcing the engagement party of Harriet May Carrow to Harvey G Reynolds. This wedding is ofparticular interest to us because my Father in laws mothers' brother, married his fathers sister. The children produced were as they called it "double cousins". Other names mentioned in this article are Loper of Wilm. Patterson Of Dover, Voshell of Middletown, Edna Van Heckle, Letitla Beck of Phil and C M Riley of St Georges. The other three articles are obituaries. Two are for John W. and one for Mrs. JW Carrow. In one article the grandsons were pall bearers the names were John W. and Harvey L Voshell, John W. (My husbands g-father) Raymond G. (husbands name sake), Gilbert Carrow, and Harvey G Reynolds. Virginia Carrow as Mrs. D R Rees is mentioned as having the funeral at her home. The funeral was held Monday May 3, but no other dates or years were given in the articles. At least 2 articles were forcefully removed from the album. One was a "card of thanks", the other was cutout including the backing in the album. I'm sure we are somehow related. We have much information to offer. My Father in law and his wife live with us. Harvey Reynolds wife Pearl is still living with a very sharp memory for being 85+ years. I look forward to hearing from you.
Georga Fisher Carrow

Dear Mrs. Stonesifer, I am sorry it took so long for me to respond to you. I started back to work after 13 years of being a mom the day after I received your e-mail. Also my father in law had pneumonia and along with not feeling well he was totally out of it. he is doing better now and might be up for a visit. I talked to him about Virginia Carrow who he refers
to as Ginny. He said she had a home bakery, selling mostly pies. He refers to her second husband as David and said he worked at Haveck. He remembers the past a little better than he remembers yesterday so he might be some help to you when it comes to documenting some old stories. We would be open to you visiting us. Give us a call when you are heading this way. Jack is hard to understand when he talks, but when he makes an effort he can enunciate fairly well. I wouldn't delay too long though. He says he doesn't want to go into the hospital again and I'm not sure how many more boughts of pneumonia we will be able to nurse him through at home.
Georga Carrow
