[10173] He was born in Germany and came to America with his parents some years prior to the American Revolution. The Weimert family apparently settled in the Littlestown-Silver Run area in the 1790's. After marriage, Peter and Louise seem to have lived near Littlestown for a time as in 1799 his name appears on a tax list for Germany Twp., Adams Co as being a maker of nails and having a tax assesment of $52. For a time they lived near Silver Run then moved to the Westminster area where they farmed. No markers can be found for them. They are likely to beburied at Krider's Church near Westminster
